		<description>I just hired the bluray and couldn&#039;t finish watching it.  Not because I fell to sleep this time.   Agreeing to your other cyberseraphic post about losing trust in humanity, this is it! The whole thing about how the movie could get produced, had Steven Spielberg&#039;s blessing and how there are still people defending the movies and gave it 10 stars, I just don&#039;t get it.  If I were being idealistic, I would think every one should critisize the movie and probably send Michael Bay to jail for robbing our time and money.

But I think you&#039;re right, you can probably say we&#039;re living in the logical extension of his world. I recently read &lt;i&gt;Why the West Rules&lt;/i&gt; by Ian Morris, some archaeologist come naval gazer, and he argued that someone jumping into Wells&#039; time from a century or two before would&#039;ve been more shocked by the changes... at least in the developed cities.</description>
